Highlights of the Funding

Capital raised from strategic investors offering strong potential for mutual growth through business synergies.

  • Mitsubishi HC Capital: Possessing a broad customer base, robust funding capabilities, and deep expertise in renewable energy power generation, this capital and business alliance is aimed at building and delivering computing power infrastructure that addresses diverse enterprise needs.

Background and Purpose of the Funding

Enterprise adoption of generative AI and large-scale simulation is rapidly accelerating, and demand for computing resources continues to grow. At the same time, computing power, including GPUs, is becoming increasingly sophisticated, while the environment surrounding data centers is growing more diverse and complex.

Against this backdrop, attention and demand are steadily rising for Morgenrot’s software solutions and engineering services that optimize and maximize the efficiency of computing resources. Furthermore, as customer deployments expand, delivering additional technical value that addresses newly emerging customer and market pain points has become the most critical theme for the Company’s continued growth.

Future Plans and Use of Proceeds

The funds raised will be primarily allocated to the following areas:

Strengthening product and platform development

  • Feature updates to existing products

  • Accelerating R&D in new domains (e.g., energy management)

Talent acquisition and organizational development

  • Accelerating recruitment of engineers, R&D specialists, and business talent

  • Expanding sales channels through partner collaboration

Accelerating global expansion

  • Expanding operations in North America and other regions to accelerate overseas business development

Through these capital and business alliances with Mitsubishi HC Capital and SB C&S, Morgenrot will continue to provide computing resources that more enterprises can flexibly utilize, while taking on the challenge of creating new services that address emerging needs and challenges.

Managing Executive Officer, Head of Industrial Machinery Business Division, Customer Solutions Unit

As generative AI becomes more widespread, computing resources such as GPUs are emerging as critical infrastructure for business activities. At the same time, their deployment and operation require highly specialized expertise and place a significant burden on enterprises. Morgenrot offers proprietary software that visualizes GPU utilization and uses virtualization technology to optimally control and allocate computing resources, providing a practical solution to these challenges — a strength we hold in high regard. We are engaged in business co-creation through our innovation investment fund, and through this partnership, we aim to create new services that combine Morgenrot’s technology with our strengths. Going forward, we will continue to support our customers’ business growth and digital transformation initiatives over the long term by advancing the use of computing resources.
